Scientific Management Associates is Australia's largest supplier of Integrated Logistics Support services to the Department of Defence and industry. Commencing operations over twenty years ago in the A.C.T., SMA has experienced continuous and stable growth and now numbers over 400 professional, technical and support staff. Today the company has operational centres in all mainland states as well as retaining its original base in Canberra. Off shore operations are conducted through SMA group member companies and joint venture companies.

Certification was provided by International Certifications Limited (ICL).

In recognition of its record of supply to the Australian Defence Organisation and the contribution it has made to the continued sustainability of the Australian Defence Force, the Department of Defence has named Scientific Management Associates as a Defence Recognised Supplier
