AMSA Marine Pollution Response Training

Self Managed National Plan Competency Based Training System for Marine Pollution Responders

SMA has been contracted by the Australian Marine Safety Association (AMSA) for the development of a self-managed competency based training system for marine pollution responders or the National Plan Training System (NPTS) inline with the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) Level 1 Category.

This training is designed for both Government and Industry Australian marine pollution response agencies responsible for implementation of the National Plan to Combat Pollution of the Sea by Oil and Other Noxious and Hazardous Substances (National Plan)

Provided services include:

• Production of a training package
• Development of a training policy to support the NPTS
• Delivery of a pilot course
• Development of a records management system
