Manning Analysis
Scientific Management Associates have completed Manning Analysis
services for several major Australian Defence Force projects as
well as overseas Defence Forces. Most recently, Manning, Personnel
and associated Facility Analysis services have been conducted for
the Royal Australian Navy in relation to the FFG Upgrade Project
and the Royal Malaysian Navy in relation to the MEKO Class Patrol
Vessel Project.
The analysis conducted for the FFG Upgrade included collecting
relevant data from various existing RAN establishments and organisations
to ascertain the effect of the project on the present manning as
well as analysing manning requirements for new facilities being
established as part of the project. This required visiting establishments
and ships in Perth, Canberra and Sydney.

The analysis conducted for the MEKO Class Patrol Vessel Project
included collecting relevant data from various existing RMN establishments
and support organisations to ascertain the effect of the project
on the present manning as well as analysing manning requirements
for new facilities being established as part of the project. This
required visiting establishments and ships throughout Malaysia as
well as visits throughout Europe.
