Mine Countermeasures Underwater Computer System (MUCS)

As a subcontractor to Nautronix Ltd, SMA are providing personnel, training services and logistics engineering for the manufacture and in service support of the MUCS.

The MUCS is a PC based aid to divers for underwater navigation and communications for use in the collection and assessment of mine countermeasures data.

The services provided include:

• Developing and conducting all initial training for Operator/Maintainers of the MUCS;

• Development and supply of the Operator/Maintenance manuals for the MUCS;

• Logistic support engineering, including the development of maintenance plans and schedules; and

• Supply support including the development of spares recommendations, equipage item recommendations and support and test equipment recommendations.
